HENTER SEITZ | 24
One of the only known shadow mechanics to exist in the metropolis of Chroma. His presence had remained a secret until recent entanglements with the authorities revealed him. Since then, he’s been constantly on the run, but subtlety had never been his strength.
Now an estranged father from his son, he’s living in with the Boar Clan in their infamous repair station. He specializes in explosives and is notorious for infusing strange substances in his work. He wields a massive hybrid wrench and dagger, and usually carries several tools and a switchblade on his person.
Seitz had been split off from any relations since a young age, so he does not know his mother or father. All he remembered was that was adopted by the Boar Clan and had considered them family since.
VESPER BOAR | 15
The daughter of Paco Boar and considered a younger sister of Seitz. A fiery teen tomboy who had always felt to be kept in the shadow by her over-protective father. She wants to join Seitz on his raids, but is constantly held back by force. She’s strong and loves to be active, spending her free time kickboxing and various work outs in the backyard. Eager to help around the station, she’s particularly intrigued by the shadow particles Seitz works on, much in contrast to her father.
She's keenly observant in the world around her and is normally one of the brighter thinkers, even offering solutions and straightening Seitz's work flow, who embraces a more chaotic approach at times.
KASTIL VOLKOV | 26
A disillusioned ex-cop who had frequent engagements with Seitz’s gang over the years, holding a dubious ceasefire with them. This was only after Seitz saved his life once from his own former colleague - the betrayal and in light of the true colours of the corp causing him to leave the force.
Since then, he had been constantly in between jobs, finding himself just as lost as Seitz. Though he does have a strong loyalty to his family and daughter. After losing his last girlfriend in the destruction of his home sector, he strives to deal with crime himself, becoming in a way, a vigilante and private detective. However, since the traumatic incident, he remains distrustful and almost fearful of the police force.
CHECKERS | ??
Although not much is known about Checkers, they seem to be very loyal and are an asset to the team. Checkers appeared to come from no where, where they were first encountered near the repair station, mischievously looting for scraps. Checkers was later offered recruitment for their skill in stealth, which comes naturally with their small size, standing no taller than an average eight year old kid.
Why Checkers covers their face entirely and wears a mask is not quite known, but it is suspected that it may have something to do with illness and susceptibility, especially in Chroma's harsh environment. Checkers never speaks, yet the team has learned to judge the animated gestures that come all too freely.
With a heart of gold and their surprising stamina and tactical ability, Checkers quickly becomes a core member of the Boar Clan.
PACO BOAR | 43
Paco is the head of the repair station and one of the few of the original Boar Clan survivors left. He frequently puts emphasis on his ancestry, believing them to be once pig farmers on the Surface World. His fascination of anything pig-like comes through at times, although he's never seen one.
Often bolstering with charisma and optimism, Paco is the social driving force of the family, although his thinking can be narrow and too traditional at times. He puts family first and is adamant to keep them safe - though it is a task he just has to accept impossible, especially with Seitz.
DWIGHT CARTE | 28
Dwight is an old childhood friend of Seitz, and one of the first members of the Boar Clan. He usually operates the crane, and carries a few spare chains with him.
With a family history of surprisingly relatively well-off merchants in the higher levels of the metropolis, Dwight had chosen to branch off early in his younger years after venturing and discovering the lower sectors of the city - of which the majority of those on the higher levels were made unknown of. Feeling that his work was more needed down below, and upon meeting his to-be lifelong friends such as Seitz and Paco, he left home to join with the others at the Repair Station, and hadn't left the place since.
