WHAT IS CHROMA?
Before there was light, there was shadow. Before man could utilize the shadow particles into mainstream technology, the planet Consetta remained in darkness.
Resources depleted, the population exploded, and soon after, the planet could no longer sustain life, thus driving the human race to burrow underground, using the shelter of land to shield against the elements.
The story follows the protagonist, Henter Seitz, an estranged father working as a rogue mechanic in the undeground metropolis of Chroma. Lost in direction and without a moral compass, Seitz lives on the outskirts of society, scraping by with labour in his family run business, and on his frequent escapades with his devoted gang on the streets of the metropolis.
Mysteriously, the children of Chroma begins to vanish, thrusting Seitz into a very real, very prominent threat, and bringing up memories of the past that could directly concern him and the future of mankind.

CHROMA art prints will be exhibiting in this year's Thought Bubble Festival in Leeds, 14- 15 November 2015, along with the first volume of Shadow Sprinters!
CHROMA began as a vague concept as a prequel to SHADOW SPRINTERS, the main story that I had running back in 2009.
SHADOW SPRINTERS became a popular online series on the site it was hosted on at the time, eventually leading my interest into a deeper backstory and history for the characters and the universe.
The story of CHROMA takes place 15 years before the start of SHADOW SPRINTERS, focusing on Jian's (the protagonist of the sequel) father, Seitz. CHROMA's purpose is to set the foundations of the world which I grew to love - from the political development, geographical, social, economical and most importantly, the origins and rediscovery of the enigmatic 'shadow particle', a form of energy which has been made mainstream in the later years of the series.
Over time, the story for this initial one-shot chapter expanded into a vast world of its own, contrasting dramatically to the Utopian environment of its sequel,
Whilst SHADOW SPRINTERS and the first drafts of CHROMA started as a webseries, my more recent and personal influences has started to lean towards CGI technology and new mediums as games and films.
My vision for the series is broadening, and though I cannot say for sure yet, it'll be likely that CHROMA will appear in other formats, whether it would be an interactive story, a mini-game, or if I'm dedicated enough, a film project in the future.
Budget and time is always an issue, and CHROMA will be starting small, keeping its roots as an online graphic novel for now, and later appearing as printed copies.
